DiVini Profumi nel Chiostro is back — the summer evening dedicated to wine tasting in Medicina (BO), now in its third edition. This food and wine event is part of the official program of the Medicipolla fair, celebrating local excellence in wine, food, and tradition.

Guided wine tasting with Cantina Mingazzini

Starting at 8:00 PM on Friday, July 11, the Municipal Cloister hosted a guided wine tasting curated by Cantina Mingazzini, a historic winery in the area. An opportunity to explore wines from Emilia-Romagna paired with selected local flavors.

A sensory experience with sommelier Stefania Raspa

The wine tasting was led by Dr. Stefania Raspa, AIS official taster and sommelier, WSET Level 3 Wines Certified, who guided the audience through a journey of scents, aromas, and aftertastes. Thanks to her expertise, each participant was able to grasp the nuances of every glass and deepen their knowledge of tasting techniques.

Medicipolla is the event that celebrates the Medicina onion, with activities, markets, food and wine tastings, shows, and live music. During the fair you can:

The story of a successful evening: glasses raised and new discoveries

The third edition of “DiVini Profumi nel Chiostro” took place in a special atmosphere, with glasses raised to the sky, smiles, and great participation. The evening featured two of Cantina Mingazzini’s most iconic sparkling wines – Polarjs Pignoletto Spumante and Cinquantacinque Rosa Spumante – alongside some novelties from the Vin-à-Porter line: the Orange Spritz Zero, the Eclissi Dealcoholized Spumante, and the ready-to-drink Hugo. These offerings sparked curiosity and won over the audience, reflecting a growing interest in fresh, light, and contemporary tasting experiences.
A special thanks to the Municipality of Medicina, which – for the third consecutive year – made possible the realization of an event that has now become a staple of the Medicina summer.
