Goodwill, Care and Dedication


Often companies were born from nothing, from a dream closed in a drawer which guides to the goodwill of creating something, of grewing up and standing out.
That’s the way, in 1964 Cantina Mingazzini was born.
From the strong will and humbleness in learning the secret hints and suggestions of this job, the particular job of “wine maker” who, living between wood barrels and experience, is able to lead to nose, taste and heart all the aromas and the flavours of our lands.

A lot of care and sacrifices characterized the adventure of three brothers, Nerio, Vittorio and Sergio Mingazzini, born among the vineyards of Dozza’s hills, in the exact place where Romagna embraces Emilia.
Their dream began working on wine, loading jugs and bottles strictly filled by hand on a 3-wheels motorbike.

Their knowledge of the territory and of the vineyards has allowed them to select the best grapes intended to be crushed and transformed in wines of quality in their own cellar in Medicina.
In a few years, the main business of the company became its own brand bottling line and it expanded besides the regional borders, up to Northern Italy.

Over the years, new production equipments and technical knowledge improvement allowed us to achieve high level products, even thanks to our cooperation with some oenologists of long-standing experience.
