A Countryside Trek Through the Fields of Medicina with Our Wines

Cantina Mingazzini will also take part in the Antica Fiera di Luglio – Medicipolla with a tasting of its wines at the end of the countryside trek “Medicina – A Land to Discover”, scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026.

If you enjoy walking in the countryside, discovering local specialties, and savoring a good glass of wine, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

The trek will start at 7:00 AM from Magazzino della Vallona (Via Sant’Antonio, 5950), offering a pleasant walk through the countryside surrounding Medicina during the coolest hours of the day. Along the route, participants will enjoy a traveling performance featuring the voices of Luisa Cottifogli and Arianna Lanci, as well as a guided birdwatching tour with an ornithologist to explore the natural beauty of the Quadrone Oasis.

The group is expected to arrive around 10:00 AM at the Quadrone Oasis, where participants can relax and enjoy a tasting of local specialties paired with a selection of our wines and non-alcoholic beverages.

During the tasting you will find:

• Arjel – Famoso Sauvignon Blanc Rubicone IGT, an elegant and aromatic white wine, perfect for a summer aperitif.
• Euporja – Pignoletto Frizzante Emilia-Romagna DOC, fresh, lively, and pleasantly fruity, ideal for sharing with friends.
• Cartabianca Lambrusco – Lambrusco Rosso Emilia Frizzante IGT, rich in character and delicately sparkling, the perfect match for the traditional flavors of Emilia.
• Eclissi Sparkling 0, our non-alcoholic sparkling wine, fresh and fruity, created for those who wish to celebrate without alcohol.
• Orange Spritz 0, a non-alcoholic spritz with refreshing citrus notes and a delicate bittersweet finish, perfect for a light summer aperitif.

The initiative, organized by the Municipality of Medicina in collaboration with L.A.C.M.E. Società Agricola Cooperativa, is part of the 24th edition of the Antica Fiera di Luglio – Medicipolla, the historic festival dedicated to the famous Medicina Onion. Throughout the weekend, the town will come alive with local markets, regional food specialties, agricultural machinery exhibitions, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.
